Who else lives on Star Island besides Diddy? Let’s look inside the South Beach enclave

One of Diddy’s mansions raided by the feds earlier this week — part of an ongoing federal sex-trafficking investigation into the rap mogul — is on Star Island, a man-made spit of land off the MacArthur Causeway in Miami Beach.

Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, pressured his staff and associates to hire prostitutes, and possibly minors, to have sex with him as he traveled across the country, according to recent civil lawsuits. Diddy’s attorney has denied those claims and the 54-year-old Harlem native has not been criminally charged.

On Monday, Homeland Security Investigations agents executed search warrants at his mansions in Los Angeles and at 2 Star Island Drive in Miami Beach. There, agents collected electronic equipment, according to a source familiar with the probe.

As agents pore over the evidence gathered from the searches, some are hearing about Star Island for the first time.

From rappers and singers to CEOs and hedge fund managers, the rich and famous call Star Island their home.

Here are a few well-known millionaires and billionaires who own property or live in the ultra-exclusive enclave:

The Cuban-American power couple own a three-story, 21,011-square-foot compound with a market value of $43,874,455, according to Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser’s website.

The rap mogul owns 1 Star Island Drive, which he purchased from the Estefans in 2021 for $35 million, and 2 Star Island Drive, which has nine bedrooms and 12 bathrooms and a market value of nearly $36 million.

The rapper-turned-businessman and car enthusiast lives in a two-story, 9,747-square-foot mansion purchased last year for around $35 million. It has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, according to property records.

A long-time healthcare investor, inventor and founder, Phillip Frost, 87, is the CEO and Chairman of diagnostics-maker Opko Health. The billionaire, along with his wife, Patricia, a former principal with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, have supported the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and the Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum.

Their three-story, 31,270-square-foot mansion sits on the enclave’s biggest lot (268,512 square feet). The property’s market value is $142,507,045, according to property records.

The hedge fund billionaire, Citadel founder and CEO has been acquiring contiguous lots on Star Island since 2020, owning more land (6.5 acres) in the ultra-exclusive neighborhood than the Frosts, according to The Real Deal.

Griffin owns seven addresses on Star Island, The Real Deal reported last year.

Last year, Griffin bought back a two-story, 13,915-square-foot mansion for $45.5 million that Alex Rodriguez had snatched up while still engaged to Jennifer Lopez.
