Hit-and-run driver hits, kills man in Pacoima
A hit-and-run driver killed a man who was crossing a street in Pacoima on Wednesday night, according to authorities.
The Los Angeles Police Department said a 45-year-old man was crossing Terra Bella Street, near Foothill Boulevard in a marked crosswalk at 9:03 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle.
The vehicle, described by police only as a green pick-up truck, was driving northbound on Terra Bella at the time of the crash. The driver failed to stop after striking the man.
The man, who is yet to be publicly identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
