Work is set to begin in May to repair the surface of a walking route after it was damaged during Storm Ciarán.

Trees were uprooted on Corbiere Walk and fences were damaged along the track which runs from St Aubin to Corbiere headland in October.

Contractors had used machinery to clear debris, but the wheels churned up the surface making the route impassable.

A section around Les Quennevais has been repaired but workers will start on the whole route from 7 May.
