Lanes reopen after rush hour crash partially shut down I-95 south near Miami Gardens

Interstate 95 southbound lanes reopened about an hour after a rush hour crash partially shut down the highway near Miami Gardens early Friday morning, according to authorities.

The crash, which involved at least two vehicles, happened around 5:30 a.m. south of Ives Dairy Road, according to fl511.com.

Three of four lanes were closed, causing heavy delays, but the express lanes remained open. Traffic was backed up beyond Ives Estates Park until the lanes were reopened around 6:30 a.m.
