Faith Time: Why this man distributes Bibles to first responders

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Joining us this morning is Dale Potts with Georgetown Fellowship Fire Department.

In this interview, he talks about his effort to distribute more than 2,000 Bibles to first responders, and why it matters.

“We meet thousands of people a month,” as a first responder, Potts said, adding that first responders who give a Bible to a trauma survivor (who accepts it) can positively impact that person.

“It gives the people comfort … when they need it the most,” he said.

“This gives them … some kind of feeling of compassion,” Pott said.
