Uber reveals Beyoncé partnership ahead of ‘Cowboy Carter’ release

It seems as if everyone’s jumping on the “Cowboy Carter” carriage, even Uber.
The rideshare app finally revealed its collaboration with the global superstar.
“Heading to a #COWBOYCARTER listening party tonight? We are such huge fans and want to give you 16% off your Uber ride (up to $16) when using code 16CARRIAGES,” Uber posted to a message on X, formerly Twitter.
Fans looking to redeem the deal are advised to “giddyup” as “availability is limited.”

The promotion is only valid in the United States from 9:00 p.m. EST on March 28 to 12:00 a.m. EST on March 30.
It’s good for one-time use only and while supplies last. Uber says the “offer and terms are subject to change.”

On Wednesday, Uber teased something was coming in connection with the singer’s upcoming country album.
The company posted a video of a white horse galloping in the dirt, similar to the horse depicted on Beyoncé’s album cover for “Cowboy Carter.”
“We’ve got some news. Tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. ET,” the app wrote on X alongside the emojis of a crown, a bee and a cowboy.
One Beyoncé fan account thought it could be a tour announcement with Uber being the sponsor, but the app immediately denied that claim.
“Now, hold your horses. It’s not that,” the company replied.
Beyoncé has had a long relationship with Uber.
Back in 2015, the singer performed at a corporate event for the rideshare. Instead of earning a reported $6 million for the performance, she was given equity within the company. When the company went public, she earned quite the pay day.
Meanwhile, as fans wait with bated breath for “Cowboy Carter,” the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer unveiled the album’s tracklist, which hinted at collaborations with country legends like Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson.
Variety reports the album will also feature Post Malone, Miley Cyrus, Shaboozey, Tanner Adell and Willie Jones.
“Cowboy Carter” is set to be released on March 29 at midnight local time.
However, it wouldn’t be surprising if West Coast fans could listen earlier.
