Actress Aya Ueto hands an Apple iPhone to customer Shingo Okubo during a ceremony on the first day of its Japanese launch at SoftBank Mobile's flagship store on July 11, 2008 in Tokyo, Japan. The iPhone 3G, priced at 23,040 yen (US $215.25) for the 8GB and 34,560 yen (US $322.82) for the 16GB in Japan, is a multimedia mobile device with a touch screen that enables email and web browsing, as well as being a portable media player.
