Police officer — Guernsey Police said it was investigating the alleged burglary [BBC]

Police have launched an investigation into an alleged aggravated burglary at a service station.

Guernsey Police said an incident took place on Tuesday between 03:30 BST and 04:00, at the Vale Road Service Station.

It said enquiries were ongoing and it would update on its progress.

The force has also appealed for witnesses to the alleged incident or anyone with information.
