Woman charged after suspected stabbing, police say
A 40-year-old woman has been charged following a suspected stabbing in a city centre, police say.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after an incident by London Road, in Gloucester, on Thursday.
The woman had been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent, possession of a knife in a public place and assaulting a police officer, Gloucestershire Constabulary said.
She appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Saturday morning and remained in custody, it added.
The injured man remained in hospital, police said.
