A man in his 50s has died in a two-vehicle crash on the A38 in Cornwall, police say.

Emergency services were called to the Glynn Valley at about 12:30 BST on Sunday.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the family of the man, who was travelling in a Honda Jazz car, had been informed.

Officers said a female passenger in a Nissan Navara pickup trucks was taken to hospital in Plymouth and remained in a critical condition.

Three other people in the truck were taken to hospital in Truro with injuries believed to be minor, the force said.
