Cannabis farm discovered after 'disturbance'

A cannabis farm is being dismantled after it was discovered over the weekend.

Northumbria Police were called to Fenham Hall Drive in Newcastle at about 19:40 BST on Sunday following report of a disturbance.

A suspected cannabis farm was found when the address was searched, a force spokesman said.

He said the farm was being taken apart and an investigation was under way.
