Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak with after swastika symbols were scratched on several cars in Ilkley.

West Yorkshire Police said officers were treating the incidents as racially aggravated criminal damage.

The footage shows a man targeting 13 cars on Riddings Road, Hawksworth Street and Cow Pasture Road on 22 March, 12 and 15 April.

Officers have asked for the public's help in identifying the man in the CCTV footage.

Insp John Barker said: “Offences like this have a huge impact on the local community.

"My officers will be out providing reassurance to residents."

He said anyone with information about the man should contact the force.
