Popular local coffee shop is opening at Sacramento airport. Here’s what we know so far

Travelers at Sacramento International Airport won’t have to journey far to get a taste of local coffee.

Temple Coffee Roasters will be setting up shop at the airport.

“We are thrilled to announce that we will soon be opening a location at the Sacramento International Airport,” the popular coffee shop chain said on Instagram. “We can’t wait to fuel you up on your future adventures!”

In comments on the post, Temple Coffee said the airport location is “still in the early planning stages.”

The new spot will be in Terminal B, in the middle of the dining area, a Temple Coffee representative told The Sacramento Bee on Monday..

There isn’t a set timeline on when the new Temple Coffee location will open, the representative said.

Temple Coffee is one of several local businesses slated to open locations at the Sacramento airport, including Nixtaco, BAWK! By Urban Roots and Cafe Bernardo.

Temple Coffee started in 2005 in Sacramento, and has grown to eight locations across the capital city area — from downtown and midtown Sacramento to Davis and Folsom.
