Swim classes cancelled due to low water pressure
A community pool is still filling after five days because low water pressure has reduced flow to a "trickle".
The group that runs the 25m (82ft) pool at Newcastle Emlyn, which straddles Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire, has appealed to businesses with tankers to help supply water so swimming lessons can resume.
They have been trying to fill it up since Tuesday.
Welsh Water said the problem was not linked to its network, but it has provided a tanker of unused water to help fill the pool.
Jo Jones, who helps to run the pool, said: "Welsh Water say it's not their fault but we haven't got pressure.
"We're hoping it will improve or we'll get permission to use the hydrant outside.
"But, at the moment, we just have to wait on this very small trickle."
Jo said the community-run pool had "lost income as we haven't been helped to run swimming lessons or sessions - everything is holding us up".
The pool usually runs 10 weekly comprehensive school sessions which it has been unable to restart.
And it was due to provide extra swimming lessons with neighbouring Cardigan pool closed.
"This is adversely affecting us," said Jo.
"We survive on the money for swimming lessons."
Welsh Water said: "Our investigations into the low water pressure at Newcastle Emlyn community pool indicate that the issues reported are not linked to our network.
"We have advised the customers of next steps they can take towards resolving the issues.
"As a gesture of goodwill, we are providing an unused tanker of water to help towards the refilling of the pool this evening."
